Sons are an heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. PS 127:3-5a

Drum Roll Please....
It finally came, our approval from China to adopt Keith, who currently resides at Beijing Social Welfare Institute. He will be five next week. Whoa. In six to eight weeks, we should finally be on our way to China.
Congratulations! I have been enjoying your blog for a little while now. I'm not sure how or when I first came across it, but I was so impressed with your smocking that I added it to my favorites. (I do not do smocking, but remember fondly the smocked dresses I had when I was a little girl.) Julianna is a lucky girl, and Keith a lucky boy. Of course, you are lucky, too. I just thought you'd like to know you have a reader in California.
Hey, was just checking into the blog to see what was happening. Am glad to see, and excited for you, that this process seems to be coming to fulfillment. Prayerfully, if I get to your state in May for a missions conference I will see if I can stay a few extra days and drive down. Keith, Julianna and I can go to Starbucks (or Krispy Kreme).
