OK, GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS. WE GOT JULIANNA'S VISA, AND BOARDED THE PLANE TO LOS ANGELES.
BUT IT HAD ENGINE TROUBLE OVER THE PACIFIC, AND WE WERE DIVERTED TO OSAKA, JAPAN. WE HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THEY'LL GET US GOING TO L.A. SO YOU MIGHT AS WELL CALL THE AIRPORT PARTY OFF.
Sorry folks. We are about fed up here in Japan. There's a whole planeload (it seems) of adoptive families stranded in the international terminal here. We can't use any phones because they don't take credit cards and we can't get to a money exchange.
Please pray for us and we'll call when we can. we have a little cadre of families to support each other here so....

Thanks for staying in touch. Hope they are doing ok. Hope Julianna is coping. We'll be praying for them.

Please post to the blog if you find out your new arrival time. I've told everyone to check it. Hate we're going to miss it since we're flying out in a few hours on vacation. Can't wait to see you!!!!

I'm so sorry y'all are delayed . . . and in yet another country! I know that's frustrating!
We'll be glad to have y'all safely home. My prayers are added to everyone's. I hope Julianna is managing well in the unusual circumstances, but I'm glad there are other families with new little additions with you.

They are in the USA but do not know when they will be in Mobile. Phil called at about 2:30 and said it would be a couple of hours to do all the paper work and before they knew when they could get a flight to Mobile. Will let you know when we know. Sherry's Dad
